What is Pitchy Patchy?

Pitchy Patchy is an outrageously hilarious satirical theatre revue. It brings together some of Jamaica’s most popular social media influencers with some known theatre and film actors. It’s a comical revue, exploring the natural mysticism surrounding what it means to be JAMAICAN. The things we say, the things we do and the way we relate to each other.

At the heart of what it means to be Jamaican, there is laughter even where there seems to be pain.

It brings two different patches together. It is an intersection of social media (the new proscenium) and traditional Jamaican theatre. It is a 2 Act revue that traverses social commentary, popular culture and Jamaican myths. The stories may be pitchy (mystical) but the it is brought together by patches (the people) of brilliance. It is half live performances and half on-line skits that will all be executed within the same period.

Rayon McLean

CREATIVE DIRECTOR, EXEC. PRODUCER

Rayon Mclean’s penchant for storytelling drew him to the world of theatre, film and advertising more than fifteen years ago. His fascination with the industry has kept him there. Today he has found a home for his vast array of global experience leading a team of cutting-edge Caribbean content creators at The LAB. Always exploring novel ways to fuse innovation and authenticity, in 2020 he conceptualized and spearheaded a Google project that captured the poignant stories of the Windrush Generation at the time when their legacy was under threat. A true team leader, Rayon enjoys collaboration and collective creation. Rayon is also an award-winning Theatre Maker who has created work in the United Kingdom, Denmark and North America. Rayon is a sound brand and content strategist who has worked for celebrated agencies such as Leo Burnett in London. He is a 2017 Chevening Scholar and a PM Youth Awardee.

Sherona Forrester

EXEC. PRODUCER, SPONSORSHIP & FINANCE

Sherona Forrester is an award-winning scholar and lecturer from Clarendon, Jamaica.

Since her days at Glenmuir High School, Sherona has demonstrated an interdisciplinary and well-rounded approach to her development with equally passionate and impressive performances in academic study, leadership, music, and sports. She has represented the UWI Mona in football, netball, and basketball as team captain. She was also a member of the Reggae Girlz- the Jamaica National Senior Women’s Football team.

She was the assistant manager for the Reggae Girl’s 2019 campaign in France. She continues to impact the lives of many young people through her church and university activities.

Kingsley Morgan

EXEC. PRODUCER, MARKETING DIRECTOR

Innovative. Dynamic. Creative. Chill.

Gifted with a sharp mind, an innate ability to connect with others and an insatiable thirst for excellence, Kingsley Morgan is a “go-to” leader for avant-garde marketing ideas. Having left with an honours degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from the University of West Indies, Kingsley would go on to cultivate an unequivocal forte for unearthing greater capabilities in sales, marketing, and operations, working alongside Jamaica’s best companies including GRACE, National Commercial Bank, Jamaica Broilers Group, Digicel, FLOW and more.

Kingsley currently serves as Managing Director of the KAM Consultancy Group where he plies his trade as a brand-builder.

Kasandra Henry

EXEC. PRODUCER, PEOPLE & OPERATIONS

Kasandra Henry’s love for entertainment and talent management began over 15 years when she entered the industry as an Event Producer, working on major events such as Sting, Red Stripe Live, Digicel Rising Stars and as an Executive Producer for reality web series Dancehall Life. Constantly surrounded by a cadre of entertainment professionals, who relied upon her to execute various tasks, she seamlessly streamed into the world of talent management. Today, Henry is one of Jamaica’s leading talent manager of artistes and social media influencers through her company Viral Media Caribbean and manages six of Jamaica’s biggest influencers.
